Between the Lines (2013-2014)

Digital photography (available as print on aluminum, size variable)

"Between the Lines" presents a glimpse into the nature of human relationships. A single human relationship full of inherent insecurities and daunting in its unpredictability is being observed, deconstructed and documented by the artist. A parallel is drawn between human encounters and partnerships and in a broader sense the existence itself. Translated into minimalist form these very personal interactions are presented through a series of patterns left in the desert sand. The marks are by their very nature only temporary in the environment prone to constant change. Over time the desert surface will leave no trace, erasing all marks.
